Education Resources

Promoting useful knowledge for everyone from students and teachers to families and friends.

The APS's core mission since 1743 has been to promote useful knowledge. Today we work to share that knowledge as widely as possible. This landing page is meant to be your hub for any and all Education Resources. At the APS, our Education team creates and scales lessons, materials, and resources for grades 4-12. Undergraduate professors have also found our materials useful.  We also host events and tours for those who wish to learn more about the APS and its collections in person or online.

Classroom Resources

APS Classroom Resources are fun and engaging activities to incorporate into your classroom. They include lesson plans, modules, experiments, and more that highlight primary sources found in APS’s collections. Our lesson plans and modules are inquiry-based and align with Common Core standards.
