Earle Spamer's career of more than 40 years has involved the care and management of archives and natural history collections; the past 13 years with the APS. He has been editor and managing editor for scientific publications and journals, a bibliographer, and has published widely about natural history and the history of the Grand Canyon and Colorado River.
