Christopher Roy (he/him) has a B.A. from the University of Vermont (French, Anthropology) and a Ph.D. from Princeton University (Anthropology). He has conducted ethnographic research among the Abenaki, Indigenous people of the northeastern U.S. and southern Quebec, and he has continued to work in the archives for over two decades. He taught for 10 years at Temple University in Philadelphia.
