Education Program & Group Tour Request Form

This form is for School Tours and Programs (grades 4 - 12, homeschool organizations, and undergraduate courses) and Community Group Tours. Please respond to the questions below as best as you can. 
 

Submitting this form does not guarantee a booking. An Education Programs staff member will reach out to you to confirm details and finalize your booking. 
 

Two weeks or more advance notice is required when scheduling tours and programs with a minimum of 5 guests. 

The first date to schedule a tour is the first Monday in May.

Tours and programs are typically offered Monday-Wednesday. Certain exceptions can apply.

Preferred Tour or Program
Grades: 4 and above. The museum offers personal tours of our annually changing exhibitions, Monday-Wednesday. Exhibition tours offer visitors a chance to explore the stories and people behind the APS collections.
Grades: 5-8. Offered Monday-Friday. Explore how early Americans in Philadelphia dealt with the dreaded yellow fever epidemic of 1793 in this interactive, hands-on program. Students will learn about the Wistar-Haines family and about how early American medicine did and did not help protect people from yellow fever.
Grades: 9 and above. What goes into planning a museum exhibition? What are key questions to think of when planning one? Learn from the staff who help put together exhibitions and create your own exhibition in this activity.
Grades: 9 and above. Want your students to learn about archives, using archival materials, or primary sources? Are you studying a particular topic in your course that connects with the APS collections? Our Education staff can lead you on a guided experience with selected materials from our archive collections.
