Saturday, July 27th from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. ET

Join the APS Museum and Wyck Historic House on Saturday, July 27th  for “Roots and Shoots in the Jefferson Garden”.

Inspired by the APS’s current exhibition, Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850, visitors will channel their inner gardener by planting and learning how to grow their own green bean plants, the stages of growing, and more! Staff will also be giving out wildflower seeds throughout the event.*

This is a free event from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to stop for any amount of time throughout the program. Hands-on activities for all ages brought to you by the American Philosophical Society and Wyck Historic House.

Make sure to stop by the Museum and see the latest APS exhibition, Sketching Splendor.

Please note that photographs or video may be taken by APS staff throughout the event for educational and/or promotional materials.
