On April 16, 2025, the APS Press invites publishing professionals to a Book Club Showcase at our second Publishing Salon of the year. Join us for refreshments, networking, and a panel discussion about book clubs.
Guest speakers will be Patricia Altman of the Philadelphia Athenaeum, Marvin DeBose of the Free Library of Philadelphia, Eleanor Levie of the Da Vinci Art Alliance Book Club, Danny Maloney of the Philly Queer Book Club, and Hannah Tran of the Philly Asian Book Club.
Publishing salons are held every other month. Future topics will cover best-of lists, developmental editing, and readings by local authors.
