Visit the American Philosophical Society Museum on the second Saturday of the month this summer for free, hands-on activities geared towards families!
Which path did early American explorers use to navigate the arctic? Is it possible to reverse the effects of climate change and refreeze the arctic?
For our first Second Saturday of the year, May 12th from 12pm to 3pm, come learn about early American explorer, Elisha Kent Kane, and his first navigation through the arctic. While you’re here, help us build up a paper model of the frozen landscape!
Every second Saturday of the month, May through September, the APS Museum will have free educational activities for families, individuals, and all visitors to enjoy.
