Join the APS Museum on Saturday, May 18th for our family event, “Watercolors in Jefferson Garden”! Channel your inner natural illustrator and try your hand at painting some flowers in our garden. Visitors will be able to try painting from real life flowers as well as try to replicate some botanical drawings from our current exhibition, Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850.
This is a free event from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to stop for any amount of time throughout the program. Hands-on activities for the whole family brought to you by the American Philosophical Society.
Make sure to stop by the Museum and see the latest APS exhibition, Sketching Splendor.
Should it rain, the event will take place on the second floor of the APS Museum.
