Educating the Citizenry - Civic Season Kick-Off Event
APS Museum - Philosophical Hall
104 South Fifth Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106
This event is free and open to the public

Saturday, June 17th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Join the APS for this Civic Season Kick-Off as we learn about Charles Willson Peale and his idea of what makes a good citizen. Discover details about the megalonyx jeffersonii, and the great incognitum and what role science played in early American politics. Engage in some hands-on activities: identify fossils, de-stress with some coloring, and leave a note on our talk-back wall about an educated citizenry.
Civic Season is brought to you by Made By Us and partners like the APS! Curious about the Civic Season? Learn more about it and start planning for it here. https://www.thecivicseason.com/
