Thursday, September 19th from 6:00 p.m.-7:30p.m. ET

Registration is required.

Who’s that over there? You see her, behind the stacks? Is that an archivist? No! It’s Ali!

As the Education Programs Manager at the APS Ali regularly ventures into our collections. Want to see the results of Ali in the Archive? At this informal program, Ali will highlight from our collections artist Mary Jane Peale.

Join us in Philosophical Hall on September 19th for Ali’s spotlight on artist Mary Jane Peale. Ali will chat about her journey through the archive and what she found. There will be activities, snacks, and drinks throughout the program. Of course, our current exhibition Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850 will be open as well throughout the program.

Please note that photographs or video may be taken by APS staff throughout the event for educational and/or promotional materials.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessing this event, please contact the education office at [email protected]. We appreciate two weeks of advance notice for any accommodation requests.

This event is free and open to the public but registration is required. This event is for ages 21 and over.
